1. Service description
Billdr provides record-keeping, quoting, invoicing, and related tools intended for UK sole trader tradespeople. Features may change as we improve the product.
2. What Billdr does not do
- Billdr does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice.
- Billdr does not guarantee compliance with HMRC or any other authority.
- Billdr does not submit tax returns or MTD updates directly to HMRC.
- Billdr does not replace a qualified accountant.
3. MTD submissions
Where you use integrations, Making Tax Digital (MTD) submissions are handled through FreeAgent, a third-party service. Billdr accepts no responsibility for FreeAgent's availability, accuracy, or compliance, and your relationship with FreeAgent is governed by their terms and privacy policy.
4. Liability disclaimer
Billdr accepts no liability for losses or decisions made based on estimates, summaries, or other information shown in the app. Always verify figures and filings with a qualified accountant before submitting anything to HMRC or other bodies.
5. Subscription and billing
Paid plans are billed at £9 per month or £96 per year (as shown at checkout), unless otherwise agreed. A 30-day free trial may apply as offered at signup. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period where applicable. No refunds are given for partial billing periods unless required by law.
6. Acceptable use
Version 1 of Billdr is intended for UK sole traders using the service in line with these terms. You may not resell, sublicense, or white-label the service without our written agreement.
7. Account termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or create risk for other users or for us. You may stop using Billdr at any time; cancellation of subscription is handled through your billing provider (Stripe) where applicable.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.
